We Never Learn, Do We?
It’s Zambia all over again, Egypt have dropped 2 points AT HOME to Sierra Leone at the start of the 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Zambia Revisited
We won’t be Egypt if we made things easy for ourselves. We just won’t. We have to make Sierra Leone look like heroes before we start playing football and qualify for a tournament we have won easily for the past 3 editions.

Well, what can I say? I’ve tried to brush off the first incident (Click here for more details) as something minor that took place by some stupid JSK fan who still feels bitter after the harsh 4-0 loss in Angola or something.
But they’ve now gone and done it again after the match. The bus returning from the stadium containing Al-Ahly ... [read more]

This is a guest post from Ian Carroll, a first-time contributor to The Offside. The last two competitive games I've been to were Newcastle v Villa (season ticket holder at SJP cautiously optimistic of survival y'see) and England v Algeria, so I figured this should be fun! A hell of a ...

Louis Saha Uses Leeches to Heal His Knees
Everton striker Louis Saha is not a man blessed with good knees. In fact I'd go as far as saying he's a top class striker cursed with horrible knees, and as a result has never been able to hit the heights his talents deserve. He's the French Ledley King. After years ...
