This week, confideration africain de football (CAF) announced its shortlist of players nominated for the African footballer of the year award and two Egyptian players are there.
The nominees are: Amr Zaki (Egypt), Mohamed Abu Trika (Egypt), Emmanuel Adeybayour (Togo), Michael Essien (Ghana) and Didier Drogba (Cote d’Ivoire).
