Ahmed Hassan says farewell to anderlecht fans

Egypt’s captain ahmed hassan has made a one last goodbye to anderlecht fans after 2 years with the team. the scene was emotional and wasn’t free from some tears from both sides. you see, ahmed hassan isn’t just a player he is a legend, a good man away from football and a fighter inside the field. he is a player who doesn’t come every day

after the game ended, 26 thousand fan shouted in one voice ” HASSAN….HASSAN”, he said ” i felt at home, i now feel i did sth in these 2 years”. among the fans were thousand from the Arab community in Belgium headed by the Egyptian ambassador in Belgium.

before the game, hassan was awarded the prize of the “African role model” for his social contributions. also ahmed won the prize of second best player in Belgium.

now after 10 years in Europe, the Egyptian eagle is heading home to play for ahly.
