Egypt - Benin preview

Well, from now till March we don’t have but friendly games and we will begin with Benin a.k.a the squirrels on Wednesday in Cairo stadium.

the preparations’ for the game didn’t exceed one day in which all the team got to practice together so we can’t use this match really to judge things; however, it will be a good opportunity to see some new faces.

Again, we are missing Mido, Zaki and Shawky for injuries but rather than that everybody is fine and ready for the game.

Added to them five from al ahly: Amir Abdel-Hamid, Ahmed Al-Sayed, Wael Gomaa, Mohamed Abou-Trika and Ahmed Hassan

Speaking about the game, there is no much attention given to it considering that it came a couple of days after al ahly won their 6th title in the champions league and everybody is celebrating them- congratulations for them by the way.

The opponent also arrived in Cairo and had only one training session; they don’t have big stars but they have some players who play in France and the gulf and they proved that they are a good team.

Although the game seems very unimportant, we must take it seriously and get full advantage of it.
