Egypt wins north african tournament

   

Egyptian world cup 2009 dream team won this Sunday the north African tournament after they equalized with Tunisia 0-0 to finish at the top of the group with goal difference. 5 teams participated in the tournament which was organized in morocco: Lybia,Egypt,Algeria,Tunisia and Morocco. the team is under the management of the newly appointed miroslav scoop from Czech republic with the assistance of rabei yassin, one of the figures of Egyptian football. both egypt and Tunisia ended with 8 points but egypt won with goal difference.

in the tournament, egypt beat lybia 2-1 then beat morocco 2-0 and in the last 2 matches they equalized with Algeria and Tunisia 0-0.

this Egyptian team is the team that will participate in the u-21 world cup held in egypt next year so they are called the dream team.

now, they will start getting ready for the African cup qualifiers with a good spirit.

this is egypts dream team that tied tunisia and algeria and only won through goal differences. Thats not a good title for a dream team. If they won every team then yea but I doubt they are.

seif: i didn’t mean dream team in a sense of being the best team; but i meant egyptians are putting large hopes on this team to achieve something in u-21 world cup held in egypt.

omar: this is a difficult task, because the names weren’t published in any news paper, u know this team doesn’t have much coverage in the media.
