Fair but not square!!
Egypt lost to Argentina 2-0!!. this is the first defeat for egypt since i started blogging here. so i almost have no experience in dealing with such situations. what makes it worse is that i only managed to see the last 20 minutes of the game!!. but any way, Argentina deserved it and now we should look ahead for wc qualifiers.
i will try to put up my thoughts about the game and the team in points.
1- i was shocked when i saw cairo stadium half empty !!.where the hell did the fans go?,only 35 thousand !!.i thought it was the high prices of the tickets but no it wasn’t, the section which was more full had a more expensive ticket!!.
2- i was shocked again when i heard the fans jeering and booing at el hadary!!. what do they want!!. should we don’t let the best goal keeper in africa play!!. which is more important ahly or egypt!!. i am sad i am saying it, but shame on you all who booed el hadary!!
3-argentina is no 1 team in the world and i didn’t expect that we would win.natural result, though we could have done better.
4-if mohamed zidan doesn’t get enough playing time in hamburg, we are losing a great player!!
5- i don’t know why meteb has to play even if he is useless in the game!!. we should ask shehata really!!
6-don’t tell me that shehata will be playing with 4-4-2 formation again!!. we simply can’t play with it. even juventus is starting to imitate our 3-5-2 winning formula!!
7- i am not attacking shehata but why has he returned to his extreme reactions again!!. why was he even nervous!!
8- i think mido should be back, we need his spirit, power, talent and most important “goals”
9-one good point is that the team is having a good personality in the field, we are no more an easy team and everybody play with us having full respect for us.
10- i really liked it when the players were passing the ball around with full confidence!!
11- i think we should stop calling ourselves champions for a while!!. we should return to the ambitious , fighter egypt and restore full concentration. i am saying this because i felt a sense of arrogance from the players. i also saw smiles before the game,we didn’t ghana 2008 with this spirit!!
12- we should be now concentrating on wc qualifiers that will start in may. we are playing with congo, not a bad team, and we need to be at our best

here are the highlights:
i want to hear your opinion….feel free to discuss
