Going down down!!
This week end, Amr Zaki was supposed to be celebrating with Mido his excellent goal against arsenal; however, the once top scorer of the English premier league and Wigan’s fans favorite had other plans in mind.
Instead he decided to stay a little bit more in Egypt and when he returned to England he allegedly stayed at a night club till after midnight on the eve of arsenal’s game!!! – I don’t believe the mirror which is known to be a sensational tabloid-
If you follow Zaki since the match against Zambia, you would have noticed that something seems to be wrong; he was very nervous during the game constantly shouting at others and even beating one Zambian player!!!
Then after the game, his agent made up this story about a fight between him and Mido and that Mido insulted him then this latest saga.
The other part of the story is that Wigan realized that Zaki won’t be affordable this summer so they started a long term strategy to convince Wigan fans to accept Zaki’s departure; the strategy started by putting Amr on the bench for a couple of times because of his lack of efficiency in front of the goal.
Then came Zaki’s late departure, Steve Bruce, Wigan’s coach as well as the manger of the club started turning 180 degrees on Zaki turning him from a hero to a zero calling him” the most unprofessional player” and threatening with heavy fines and now Zaki became the most hated player among the fans.
However, this doesn’t mean that Zaki had a great share of what things has ended up to because he gave them the excuse by his low performance during matches and lack of goals then by starting trouble with his team mate and then returning late and even more “staying up late in a night club”
To cool the situation Mido spoke and said that Mido is a great friend with a great heart and asked the fans not to kill him.
“He still doesn’t know how things are done in the EPL, and I am going to help him with that,” Mido said
By this, Mido dropped two birds with one stone; he won Zaki and cooled the situation and solved a big problem for the national team which depends on both players; really Mido proved his intelligence and experience in this statement.
Still, speculations are on about where will Amr head to next season; offers are said to be there from Newcastle and Lyon but still nothing official. Basically Amr will be a Zamalek player once the loan contract ends and he may even stay there.
But for Amr to stay in EPL or even Europe he must erase this bad picture he painted for himself and stop being a typical irresponsible Egyptian player who failed in Europe because he couldn’t adapt to the lifestyle and professional life there!!
Or else he can return to Egypt and score goals against telecom Egypt and Olympic – with all due respect!!!!

dude dont wrry he ll come back and score once more ..then move to newcastle isa

The blame lies squarely with the Egyptian media which tends to show him as a hero out of this world! If you look at the pictures they show of him, they all paint him as an unstoppable football player. I believe in the fairness of the English club. Therefore, if he was really that good, they would do all they can to keep him. That’s how the West works! As for Mido, I lost respect for him ever since that heated exchange with his coach in front of millions of spectators. The guy simply has no class!

rachid: they knew they couldn’t afford him, so they wanted to convince the fans that he is a bad player so that they won’t be angry if he moved to another club; the west aren’t angels and the examples are too many to be counted not only with egyptian or arab players!!
there is no doubt that zaki is a great player, i just critisized his mentality and lack of professionalism but concerning talent he is one of the best african players
mido is a great player and what he did is a mistake and he apologized for it almost instantly and everybody forgot it!!!

and concerning the media; all arab media do he same including tunisian media!!!

Tamim, I am not singling out Egyptian media; I’ve seen worse things in Tunisia with players who have not done a damn thing for the NT enjoying hero status. I don’t want to name names, but they know who they are. I think that only misleads the player and hurts his discipline. Hope your two favorite players do miracles for the Egyptian NT!

man can things get any worse..looks like we are not goin to the world cup…no essam for 4 mnths!!!!wtf!!!

Ahly proved that they certainly hold grudges for ever! For everything he’s done for that Club, why do they insist on suing him so much? Unbelievable!!! I’m not surprised, though: most Ahly fans still cannot believe they lost to Etoile FAIRLY and squarely in 2007!

still things aren’t cler….he can challenge the ruling but anyway, the suspension ,if true, will start in august meaning that he will participate in algeri’s game and the confederations cup!!
the whole thing maybe an election propaganda or to cover their bad results lately!!!
beside we still have abd el wahed!!!

or ramzy saleh..lol

oh did i mention i f-in hate ahly

no ahly zamlek preview i no it aint natl team but u usally do?

actually omar, i was waiting till i watch the game to see if it is worth a game review and to discuss the effects of its result on the remainder of the season.
the second reason why i didn’t discuss el hadary situation and the derby preview is that i am in deep shit studying for exams this 2 weeks!!!
