How Could a seasoned Team Manager use a reserve side on in a crucial qualifying game.I know you never started off from Egypt hoping to lose, far from it. This is a lame excuse. After all, this is not the first time we habe beaten you.

I think you guys are still suffering from superioty complex.

Bright, nice to know that the roof of your ambitions is beating us. Shows how great we are, doesn’t it? and yeah whether you approve or not, you defeated the Egyptian second string side. You say you don’t care what happens in Cairo, please let me know how you fel afterwards on this blog. How many times did we defeat Malawi? The answer to that will be how many times did you win the ACN? Better still how many times did you qualify? My friend I advise you not to talk about history here it will embaress you. But, I still applaud you for your victory, it was well deserved and the pitch was good enough to play on, no excuse.

The good and the best thing was to watch the Egyptian team dancing and chasing their own shadows. What ever happens in Cairo, we Malawians are proud of our team. I was young when Malawi beat Egypt or is it the Pharaohs in Kenya (2-1). I was also young when Malawi beat Egypt again in 1992 1-0. So last week brought good memories to me. Another 1-0. You guys how many times have your team beaten Malawi?

You may be the African champions. Even if we do not qualify for the finals, we will still be proud that we beat the Champions 1-0. Now you guys are saying we played with a Reserve side. Before the game, you were saying you will win. By the way, it is not raining now and the pitch is good (approved by FIFA)

By the way, I could have said that Egypians are lunatics, but I know it will not be correct because I know very good people in Egypt, men and women

I believe the game of soccer is meant to entertain but at the end of the day there has to be a winner. And it is not an offence for the winner which in this case happens to be the little known(according to Timam) Malawi, to celebrate. The mere fact that Egypt are African Champions and ranked a respectable lot in the world, calls for even much much celebration for a team ranked so low to beat them.

We as Malawians are so proud to have beaten them here and would even be pleased to repeat the same in cairo to show it was not a fluke doing it here in Malawi. The pressure is on Egypt to restore their pride!!!!

However I dont think we should use this fora to castigate one another, football is meant to be fun and our comments should also bring fun in all of us. AFRICA please let us UNITE and not stab one another!!!!!! So Mr Sitima as a fellow Malawian I think you are a bit out of order, our Malawian culture teaches us to bring peace when provoked thats why we are called THE WARM HEART OF AFRICA!!!

Otherwise the Pharoahs should brace themselves for another scorching flame this week end!!
