Squad announced for Djibouti’s match
yesterday, Hassan Shehata announced the full list of players who are going to face Djibouti next Sunday in the last group match of the preliminary stage in the world cup qualifiers . the choices came very usual except for the return Abd El Wahed El Sayed, Amir Azmy and Ahmed Abd El Ghani; rather than that all our striking force is there.
Squad:
goal keepers:Essam El Hadary, Abd El Wahed El Sayed, Amir Abd El Hamid, El Hany Seliman
defenders:Hani Said, Wael Gomaa, Mahmoud Fathallah, Ahmed El Sayed, Amir Azmy, Ahmed Samir Farag, Ahmed Shedid Qenawy,Ahmed El Mohamady, Mohsen Hendawy.
midfielders:Mohamed Shawky, Hosni Abd Raboh, Ahmed Hassan, Mohamed Homos,Ahmed Shaaban, Abu Trika, Ahmed Eid Abd El Malek
strikers: Mido, Amr zaki,Emad Meteb, Ahmed Abd El Ghani
comments:
- the same group that earned victory in Congo except for the previously mentioned 3 players
-shehata received a lot of criticism for calling all our stars for such an easy mach especially that it is worthless and we have guaranteed our ticket to the next round.
-i think that if we would have given other players a chance in a competitive we would have discover some new faces but anyway, the upcoming matches can’t bare any risks
-the only player i feel is missing in this list is Mohamed Zidan; no one to blame but himself!!
the team will gather today in Cairo before leaving to a preparation camp in Alexandria and return for the match played on Sunday.
happy 6th of October all…..feeling victorious?….here is something to spark your feelings

yes, you are right in this point. we can’t lose team chemistry after we finally found it in cog’s match; however, injuries are something to be concerned with.
