And this isn’t about CONCACAF, it’s about the USA. Yea, CONCACAF sucks and there is no competition, where Africa is competitive. But guess what, USA isn’t CONCACAF, they just play there. They would qualify out of Africa. They beat the so called “African Champions”
(Even though Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria are miles ahead).

You can make all the excuses in the world and whine and complain all you want, but I don’t care, because my team beat your team 3-0. And it’s sad, that the USA has no talent on the ball. We still smashed your pathetic little team to pieces. If you can’t beat a team with no talent, then why waste your time even rooting for Egypt.

And Jessie, Egypt face far FAR stronger competition in Africa than the US does in CONCACAF. The CONCACAF region is a joke. The reason the US always makes it to the world cup is because you have ZERO competition: Guatemala, Canada, El Salvador? Yeah, wow, amazing competition there! Meanwhile Egypt have to face teams like Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, teams that routinely give the big teams a very difficult time in the world cup. There are African players all over the big clubs in Europe, where are the superior Americans?

Your team is CRAP, there is NO American player with talent on the ball like Zidan and Aboutrika — NONE! American players are unbelievably awful on the ball. It’ll be fun watching them get run over by the Spanish.

USA was missing their starting forward and two defenders in the back. But we didn’t say anything the whole tournament. Why? Because we don’t make excuses.

USA played better against Italy than Egypt did. Egypt is a lucky team, always has been and always will be, you’ll never be anything more. And that’s exactly the reason you’re going home, and that’s exactly the reason you aren’t going to the world cup once again, and that’s exactly the reason you are left with nothing but your excuses.

The US is an utterly mediocre, godawful team. I’m Brazilian, live in the US, studied in Egypt in the 80s and have many friends there. I love Egyptian football and was very glad to see Egypt give Brazil a good game. For long periods in that game they were the better team and Brazil did not deserve to win it. Were it not for that penalty, Egypt would be in the semifinals. I really thought Egypt would beat a thoroughly poor US team.

Thanks to Egypt for making this tournament entertaining and surprising — please just go on and qualify for the world cup! The US, meanwhile, are just horrible to watch and have absolutely no talent on the ball.

In the long run I think whats needed is to send as many players as possible to Europe to play. They can learn to become professionals like Zidan has done- or they can continue in their ways like Zaki and be dropped forever.
