Egypt

Tomorrow is another day…. (comments closed)

Sudan Egypt Algeria WCup SoccerDeserved it or not, we lost and Algeria qualified to South Africa 2010 after a 7 months race full of highs and lows ending with a tiebreaker in Sudan; if there is anyone to blame, it is us because we weren’t able to score, it is as simple as that.

we have celebrated on this blog many many times and we also went through disappointments and defeats; the joy of victory and the agony of defeat are, however, temporary feelings that will be forgotten within a period from the event, what remains is the memories and the true feelings that we got to discover in its ugliest forms, the scar is so deep that time won’t erase it; however, this is a football blog so I will keep it to football.

Why we lost?

Before the game, I was worried and nervous fearing any improvisation from Shehata like what happened in the first game against Zambia and I hoped that he would play with the most reasonable formation that no one would disagree with; I also hoped that we get rid of the momentum and confidence of Saturday’s game and play in Khartoum as underdogs.

Unfortunately, none of this happened; Shehata failed to deal with the game and opted for a bizarre formation starting with both Ahmed Hassan and Ahmed Fathi in Midfield, one is old and the other isn’t a defensive midfielder, while leaving Hosni Abd Raboh, Homos and Shawky on the bench.

This fatal mistake caused us, again, to play long balls while the trio of Abu Treika, Meteb and Zaki stayed in their isolated island in the absence of any support.

Games like these are known for the battle of midfield; you control the midfield, you control the game; Shehata didn’t see this and when he tried to change things, it was late because the Algerians were already piling up in defense and almost never attacked except for Abdel Qader Ghezzal header in the second half.

The flanks, on the other hand, were handicapped as Moawad had more than two players closing on him and his tactical partner Abu Treika was completely out of form and didn’t provide the support needed.

On the right side, Mohammadi tried but he lacked the final touch of delivering a good cross and seemed hesitant between Defense and attack; however, during the second half, while we were attacking with more than 6 players, Mohammadi needed to be substituted with Barakat to increase our attacking flare.

We should have played with one striker and one play maker and put more players in midfield and Abu Treika needed to be substituted as he was proven to be out of form even from Cairo’s game.

Another main reason for the loss is our inability to deal with free kicks and high balls and the opponent’s excellence in using them; this problem constitutes a phenomenon even in the local matches of the Egyptian league that we need to tackle it from the roots with youngsters at football academies.

Also, we failed to use our own free kicks; although we had more than 10 corner kicks, we used none even to threat the goal keeper as all the balls went wide.

With that said, I have to say that luck wasn’t on our side; what are the chances that Meteb would miss this chance or that Abu Treika couldn’t score from a one-on-one situation.

We lost A game of football but that won’t make us forget what this group of players has previously achieved.

Thank You

The Egyptian Football Association has its share of the blame because of the poor organization of the tickets’ sales process for Saturday’s game and the game in Sudan which has resulted in real football fans staying at home while we sent Artists and Media people in the stands of El Merreikh stadium.

Not to mention their weak reactions to all what has accompanied the game and the game in Algeria; speaking of that, what happened off the field in both games is another story.

Before June’s game, I was one of the biggest fans of this game being played in a friendly atmosphere where sportsmanship prevails and like me, most Egyptians expected and wanted so; however, as the game approached I myself was bombarded with bizarre comments from Algerian fans here and elsewhere, I found politics and religion mixed with sports, I found harsh insults but I thought this was normal football fever that happens in any football match.

The game came and the first shock came with the strong jeering and booing of the national anthem then videos appeared of fans celebrating beside the Hotel not to let the players sleep and then news came of people from the technical staff and some players poisoned because of a bad meal; the game was played and we lost and no one complained.

Tides turned throughout the rest of the games until Cairo game in which Egypt had to win by a two goal difference to stay in the competition or three to qualify directly.

Algerian and Egyptian media started to charge the fans and as the game approached Algerian media raised their tone while Algerian fans doubled their dose of insults; thee Algerian FA, on the other hand, did nothing to stop this but started to make troubles over the tickets and made an issue of everything.

The Algerian team came with bad intentions, taking with them their chefs, water, food and even blankets and security personnel; they seemed dubious from the moment they arrived at the airport and then came the stone throwing incident.

While foreign and Arab media caught the story and exaggerated a lot and didn’t even wait for anything official; police investigations proved that one stone was thrown, the person who did this isn’t confirmed to be Egyptian, and that the Algerian players broke the windows glasses from inside which is backed up by the glass on the ground at the hotel, which means it was broken from inside , and even the videos of the Algerians showed stones thrown from one side; however, as the bus arrived, windows were broken from both sides; not to mention the drivers’ witness that the players used emergency tools inside the bus o break the glass.

Watch for yourselves; especially at the beginning

As for the injuries I will let this picture speak for itself.

15345_203174551310_652441310_4602193_7734727_n[1]

They threatened to boycott the game and said the game should be moved but FIFA officials present at the scene refused all these requests because they saw nothing; common sense says that if they had strong evidence that this was true, they would have cancelled the game.

Anyway, after this incident the game was played and we won 2-0; however, the defeat was too much for the Algerian media to take so they decided to make up stories of Algerian fans dying and trapped in Cairo after the game, allegations that even the Algerian ambassador denied, while they were the ones who started provoking the Egyptian fans and insulted them in and outside the stadium and even went in riots inside the airport on their way home; Algerian people and due to these false news was charged to the maximum.

We had to play in Sudan, our choice; right after Cairo’s game ended, Algerians started to descend on Khartoum paying people money to hang the Algerian flag and even giving them candy. They also spread a rumor that Egyptians supported Chad against Sudan in a game that was played in Cairo although no one even knew that there was such a game.

Algerians used the stone incident again to stress they played in unfriendly atmosphere and that they would perform if they play in a “neutral” atmosphere and unfortunately, they convinced public opinion with these allegations; even after Sudanese president held a conciliation session with both delegations, Samir Zaher went to shake hands with Algerian officials but they refused and walked away!!!

From its side, the Algerian government announced it would carry 10 thousand “fans” to Khartoum for free but what happened was that they sent thugs who since they arrived started buying knives and all kinds of light weapons, according to the Sudanese themselves, and started intimidating whoever carries the Egyptian flags even the Sudanese people and the disaster is that they were carried on the planes of the Algerian air force!!!!!

r649209919[2]

r2911041078[1]jhhj

The Algerian thugs attacked the Egyptian team’s bus but Egyptian officials didn’t want to exaggerate the incident and on the day of the game, Khartoum seemed to be occupied by the Algerian thugs who broke into the stadium with their weapons and some of them got into the pitch before Sudanese authorities arrest them.

We lost because simply we didn’t deserve to win the game; however, Egyptian fans in the stadium clapped for the team and headed for the airport as planned, the losing team and its fans was agreed to leave and the winning team and its fans after them with 3 hours,, however, Algerian thugs had another plan; they broke out of the stadium just as they broke in and started chasing buses carrying Egyptian fans and smashed them with rocks and closed the airport road to the extent that some fans had to hide in Sudanese houses.

The thugs continued to practice their terror while the Sudanese authorities did their best to control the situation but unfortunately it wasn’t enough; even those who reached the airport found it closed and couldn’t do anything while many of them were injured.

High authorities in Egypt had to intervene to allow Egyptian fans take their planes back home and guess what, Algerian thugs has already invaded the runway and started chasing Egyptian fans!!!!

Most people returned home; official reports say there are 20 injuries but fortunately no deaths, which would have been the case if we won.

Out of all this, we learnt two important lessons:

1-we need to learn dirty tricks and know how to be mean against our opponent.

Unfortunately, we focused on football and left them execute their well planned scenario that turned us into be bad guys in front of the world’s public opinions while we were the victims.

We need to learn how to counter these tactics off the field and apply it ourselves with opponents like those, we need to learn how to play with press statements and we need to learn how to use scare tactics, because apparently honesty doesn’t win games these days.

We need to learn how to use our international posts like what Rowrawa, Head of Algerian FA and member of FIFA’s disciplinary committee, did changing the observers of Cairo’s game and influencing FIFA officials as well as CAF officials to appoint a referee who is going after 10 days to officiate the final of confederation cup in Algeria!!!!!

On the pitch, we need to learn how to intimidate the opponent, provoke them, get them out of their concentration, learn how to fool the referee by hitting the opponent without him noticing it, learn how to get out the worst of the opponent and appear as victims and most importantly learn how to waste time.

2- We need to have a strong international public relations office at the EFA.

They used their relations with foreign media; especially French one to create a propaganda over the stone incident out of nothing and succeeded in convincing them that they are the victims not us as people saw Algerian actions as a reaction to what happened in Cairo.

Our media is the strongest in the Middle East; but unfortunately, its effect is limited within Arabic speaking audience; we need to establish long term relationships with foreign media and always keep in touch with them by sending brochures, organizing events and creating good publicity so that when we need them, we find them just like what happened this time.

We lost the game, Algeria qualified, no way the game will be replayed or a punishment of significance will take place but we have learnt our lesson.

Message to Algerians

Before accusing us of hostility, go ask how UAE’s team was received and treated like kings in Egypt along with the 24 participating teams in the U-20 world cup and go ask the 16 teams participating at the African cup of nations in 2006 how was their stay in Egypt and go ask hundreds of teams who came to egypt to compete in international sporting events and sometimes beating the home team but nothing happened to them and then go ask yourself why were Egyptians had an aggressive attitude toward you? Ask yourself why us?

On the other hand, go ask your media how could thy publish news of people dying in cairo without having a single evidence resulting in a big scare in the relationship between two people, that Egyptians in Algeria received threats that If they didn’t return home, they will be killed!!!!

I know you will say Egyptian channels started it, yes Egyptian private channels contributed to the tragedy but you were the ones who took it to new levels with your false news about deaths in Cairo.

You have to admit you have a real problem with hooligans and ask yourself why didn’t Algeria host any major football competition since 1990 and why were 120 games in your local league played behind closed doors and why is violence part of your football?

I am not saying that we are saints, we have problems but they can’t be compared to yours!!!

What’s next for Egypt WCB?

I thank everyone who came to comment here, I really appreciate that you took time to read my posts. I a m going to take a little break to catch p with the loads of work I have to do as a senior year student but I will return as soon as I can or if something really big happens….. I hope that you don’t break ties with Egypt WCB and keep visiting for African cup’s coverage; the draw is today by the way.

Thank you all again.

Now I will leave you with some videos of our opponent:

@Tamim: yes, i ive read he mentinoed the israelis ben haim and grant, but he also put as reason the fact de didnt want to play with algerians….ive read that on his official site in arabic, because i couldnt believe him refusing the offer because of behadj and yebda…but sadly he realy put it as reason.
he went so far to say he would never in his life play with algerians.

well now to your questions why our players still there with israelis…im not sure, but i think belhadj and yebda were there before the two israelis, so they could leave the club now, but honestly if someone found they left because of israelis, ill be pretty sure theire pro carreers in europe would be over….on the other hand, they may think, screw the politic thing and lets play football…i can imagine belhadj and yebda happy about grant as new coach, because he is great in his job (please no fucking comments sayin im israeli friend, IM NOT).
another fact is that these two algerian players grew up in france. they have not the same mentalety or education like you in egypt or me in algeria (spent my childhood there)…matmour also plays since two years in gladbach with the israeli colautti, its just another mentalety, i can imagine these guys can differ between politics and sports. and i think thats a good thing considering the events the game egypt algeria.

100% agree with uthman. Sport and politics should always be separate as we saw with these games.

If Zaki really refused to play for a team because there are Israelis on it that’s just more proof and reason why Egypt will never progress on the international stage and may never reach the world cup again.

Really, it’s a joke how some of these players think. Get on the damn team, progress in your career, buildup your skill level and overall game and forget about who is Arab and who is Jewish and who is Muslim and who is Christian. Be a professional!!

Goal #1 on Egypt’s National Team reconstruction list…
Build an unbreakable level of professionalism and mental toughness!!!

honestly….zaki killed his possible professionel carreer with those statments…i can imagine european coaches are not happy with a player in their squad, who thinks in that way….he just showed he cant focus on football 100%, he gives other things to much importance…..sad, such a talented player with such big potential…i dont think he can reach 100% of his potetial in egyptian league (even its still one of the continents best leagues) and african club compititions…that way he will just reach 80% max of his capacitys.

kul sana wentu tayebeen…… Listen guys I don’t think the Egyptians need to rebuild….African football is the best it has ever been…..this egyptin team despite some really questionable coaching it bar far the best team in Africa . Back to back African championships don’t happen by accident….. If African football is the nest it has ever been and Egypt is the current back to back African champions then it is reasonable to say Egypt has the best team in African history….. Now some will say Cameroon or Nigeria for what they have done in a world cup….. But I disagree.African football is clearly at it’s best now and for the past 4years one team Egypt has dominated the continent. Now I agree with tamim we cannot change shehata now because the ANC is around the corner….but ultimately I belief shehata has got to go. Shehata has done a grew job in the past but he has tea he’d his limit….. I think egypt success was not due to shehata but maybe despite shehatA…… I think the national teams success had shehata a little arrogant thinking it was him not the players……. The man was taking things too personally…. Not taking mido not playing zidan in rowanda or Zambia when we had no strikers due to injury.. .. We needed goals not just wins. At the end of the day we still have the best team in Africa we don’t need our players in europe morroco Algeria both have their players in Europe and both have average teams……Tunisia also has most of their players in europe and they are a good team by they also got upset by a weak team like the Egyptians did………I think sticking with our current system of local players peppered with euro players is our best option and it has worked…… We just need better coaching .. ..

uthman we appreciate your advice but a guy who thinks a team that barely touched the ball in two critical games is actually better than Egypt I really have to question your football knowledge…… Your players have always been in europe that didn’t help you have more than 30%possesion….I miracle allahu Akbar goal in one of your two shots on goal does not make you a better team. Nor does it make Egypt have to rebuild …..questionable coaching decisions however make us need a coaching upgrade…..we can’t have coaching waste our talent

look bahaa, i wont talk with you about the game again, you have your opinion and i have mine, its not a miracle when a team stand on top of the group after end of qualification…its just the result of hard work….egypt did something wrong this time and the algerian did something right…..i think we are better now, you think i should go see a doctor….well enough said…give algeria a chance. angola is coming soon…..
look bahaa, the problem why we were missed the last 20 years was because of civil war….algeria always had big football potential, and we proved that in the 80s with local players like beloumi, assad and madjer (later he went to porto where he made history)……but these days we cant compete with local players because our league is to weak….your league is better but i dont think you compete on international players with just locals…you need pros in the team.

@bahaa:”Your players have always been in europe that didn’t help you have more than 30%possesion….”, but it was enough to make the goals we need it…..just keep the ball 90% of the time, aslong it just looks good without effectivity you can go ahead….
what i wanna say is, a professional is effectiv, he needs one chance to make a goal, because he knows a game has 90minutes…and he should stay focus on the one moment to hit the sword in his oppenents heart….bahaa, we played 3 games, and in all of them you had more possesion, but you failed to win, because the algerian players were more effective, more focused on theire chances….you are right, a better team can loos to a weaker team, but we played three games, the last one was final, and the algerians had the better nerves, they were more focused and had more heart, and that is what good teams need to win a final…..so yes, after the sudan game im convined we are better now because we think more professional on order to decide a game with just one action
ask brasils coach dunga who made a great job to make the brasilians think more the way i try to explain….beauty is nice but it give you titles, you need VICTORYS for that

Hello all (except NazimMouloudia who doesn’t know much about grace).. happy Eid.

For those who say nothing happened in Sudan. I was there. stuff did happen. I made some good Algerian friends by the way. They were telling me what happened to them in Egypt and were telling me about the Algerian thugs that came to Sudan.

I am noticing that civility returned to the forum. I welcome that and look forward to a civil (if even heated) discussions.

uthman hey I admire your passion for your country….but please take the patriotic blinders off….. Anyone who is not Algerian knows clearly the Egyptian team is a much better team…..my friend it’s not even close….. Hey the game is over you guys are in mabrook take pictures but to say your a better team when you got so totally dominated from begining to end just shows that your either football stupid or just so patriotic that you cant be rational.nazim yEs I’ll be watching Algeria get humiliated in sa…….it won’t be the first time 4 years ago I watched Angola and Togo …… It’s nothing new .Africa has a history of sending second tier teams to the world cup final…….if Africa stayed like the rest of the world and kept the away goal rule we would have been in….. But it appears that it wasn’t meant to be…….the last six games we played Algeria mr nazim you have 3 wins we have 2 wins and we have 2 draws …….uthman it had nothing to do with focus we had multiple organized attempts that didn’t go in you had 2 shots and alahu Akbar a miracle shot went in…….that doesn’t change your mediocore reality nor does it change our powerhouse reality………

-Powerhouse team 3-4 medicre team after three games..
-egypt wins agains algeria only in egypt..
-outside of egypt you got beat by algeria..
-since 1989 you won vs alg just two times (in egypt of course)..
-we have more victorys against you…
-you have 6 africa titles…we have mor wc appearances…
-our players play in clubs like lazio, glasgow (bougherra has been elcted -best player of the year by the FANS there, not algerians) or wolfsburg (yesterday ziani had two assists)….
-we won already in cairo once, you never did in alger…
-you said blida is an exeption and you will take back to reality!! yeah..the reality says we play WC, and you??

now my question:
CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME WHY YOU ARE BETTER??? because of 2006 and 2008…oh man wake up…ask abu treka, he would give both titles to algerian in change for the WC.

uthman everyday you show more and more your lack of knowlege and your ignorance….you are just an ilogical hard headed naive Algerian fan…..,.what is wrong with you people your so in love with Europe ……yes you have many bench warmers in Europe in mostly second tier euro clubs….. But that doesn’t matter …..Algeria morroco and Tunisia all have most of their players in Europe ……of the 3 only Tunisia has an above average team…. Yet just like Egypt they got upset by a weak team that got totally dominted but got a lucky goal….,uthman your inability to be objective is pathetic and embarassing…..anyone who is not a pathetic naive Algerian fan knows that Algeria going to the world cup rather than Egypt is a major upset…..everyone other than an Algerian fan who is naive and ignorant knows Egypt completly dominated Algeria in both games. ..even you uthman after the game in Cairo finally admitted that Egypt was the better team…..what happened in4 days all of a sudden they got better…..your credability is bankrupt. ….what one lucky goal out of two shots in the game has transformed an average team to a hood team….come on man do you really believe your pathetic empty arguments…yes you got lucky and won a game against a much better team…..it happens . It happened last world cup to Togo and Angola …… Are they good teams now? No it was a fluke just like this. .you changed your mind in 3 days because of a miracle goal….. Well uthman even though you were coMpletely dominated in Cairo youactually had abetted game in cairo that. In Sudan but in you had one of your two shots go in. …come back toreality man. Your sounding pathetic

@Bahaa:
-”you show more and more your lack of knowlege and your ignorance”…you are the ignorant…we had three games and we won at the end….one game is luck…advantage after long run (3 games) means one team is better than the other, you are just ignoring that.
-”of the 3 only Tunisia has an above average team….” sorry, the way they lost theire tickest shows they are just average
-”just like Egypt they got upset by a weak team that got totally dominted”…again, after three games algeria leads 4:3….you can loose 1 game because of bad luck….but you had your chances and screwed them…what powerhouse
-”even you uthman after the game in Cairo finally admitted that Egypt was the better team” yes i did, but i also said algeria has real chances and that we are an up coming team which is hungry and which can beat you…..even you admited….after the sudan game it was clear, egypt beats in algeria only in egypt, so no way you are better (antars goal is purest objectivity)
-”uthman your inability to be objective is pathetic and embarassing”…its not objective to say egypt gonna win in cairo at least 3:0 (you did)…its not objective to say in sudan its gonna be an easy game for egypt (you did)..and its not objectiv to STILL talk the same “we are soo powerhouse” shit after 2 missed chances (in cairo you had more than 90 min to score two, you powerhouse)…still talking that way after receiving a lesson in objectivity is EMBERASSING.
-”..your credability is bankrupt. …” said the guy who quoted blida was an exeption and that they are going to win BIG TIME in cairo.
-”….what one lucky goal out of two shots in the game has transformed an average team to a hood team….” hmmm, ok lets think about it….there is team who has two chances and makes one of them and there the other team who has 5 chnaces but makes no one of them….hmmm, so whos the better team?
-”.come on man do you really believe your pathetic empty arguments…” yes i do because i have arguments…what you dont have. all you talk is “egypt is a powerhouse, egypt is gonna to Wc, egypt is playing for african championsship, egypt is still better, we dominated you,” sound like egyptian newspaper headlines…at the end thats all whats left; 100% slogans, 0% arguments
-”…yes you got lucky and won a game against a much better team….” sorry. but we won two times agianst you in 2009, egypt won two times against algerian since 1989…oh yeah, you are sooo much better
-”…come back toreality man. Your sounding pathetic” said the guy who thinks egypt is a world powerhouse, but failed to go to WC, because they played 3 games agianst an average team (your words, not mine) and were the loosers at the end…..pleaaaaaaaase, if im pathetic than you are my king.
@DZ: STOP TALIKING THAT WAY, USE PROPER WORDS AND ARGUMENTS BUT NO INSULTS AND KEEP IT SPORT, i feel emberassed by people like you man, even you algerian, we are smarter than using insults to express ourselfs…algeria and egypt have history and you shouldnt forget that because of a football game, even if the tension is high….support your team but respect the opponent, i hope you got it

you guys are a second tier team that got lucky….despite being completely dominated 30% possesion what a joke…..you are going to the wc…… The wc didn’t make Togo or Angola good teams and it won’t make you an above average team either your record is you record…..algeria had one good decade. The 80’s that’s it …… Now your a joke …..but hey you beat Germany 25 years ago LOL …..I guess I understand the excitement…..what else does Algeria have to be excited about………..

I’m Egyptian (born and raised in USA)…

Ive said it before and ill say it again, Egypt lost fair and square on the pitch. They had yet another one of their famous brain farts and decided to leave their mental toughness at home and play a soft game.

Although the final score is in Algeria’s favor (again, clearly won fair and square no question about it) Egypt basically lost the game for them. Putting the score aside, i dont think its fair to say Algeria is a better team however. Let’s just talk about this from an unbiased point of view. Egypt played (and has always played) a much better and aggressive game of football…basically a more COMPLETE game of football. And like any other team in ANY OTHER SPORT, Egypt is not immune from having mental lapses and thus bad games. It happens all the time.

The example i used before was the one regarding the Ny giants and New England Patriots back in the Superbowl 2 years ago (for those of you who have any knowledge of american football). The Patriots were clearly and hands down the better team (they went undefeated throughout the whole season!! even beating the giants before the playoff tournament started!) But they lost at the superbowl and the giants won. So it happens all the time, the best team doesnt always win.

Algeria scored a clean well placed goal. But it was Egypt
s fault because it allowed it due to some real crappy defense, not because of Algeria’s skilled played or any type of offensive tactic employed. Aside from some disgusting bad luck against Egypt, they basically gave away the game. So kudos to Algeria for TAKING ADVANTAGE! But if you rea any unbiased soccer review of the game the consensus is EGypt was the better team except for its usual lack of mental focus.

So congrats ALgeria (i mean it). But for those idiots who keep insisting on coming in here just to talk shit and insult the Egyptian country and government….you typify every dumbass arab out there who lacks a solid education, good moral values and a sense of professionalism. The sign of a true winner is the one who acts like he’s been there before! Its the type of behavior and stubborness you guys are displaying that keeps every “arab” continuously living in a 3rd world country with a 3rd world education and a 3rd world way of life. Lets all grow up and move on

@Bahaa:
“you guys are a second tier team that got lucky….despite being completely dominated 30% possesion what a joke…..you are going to the wc…… The wc didn’t make Togo or Angola good teams and it won’t make you an above average team either your record is you record…..algeria had one good decade. The 80’s that’s it …… Now your a joke …..but hey you beat Germany 25 years ago LOL …..I guess I understand the excitement…..what else does Algeria have to be excited about………..”
…not one single argument…again!

algerias next golden decade has just started…even you admited already that this team is having a future..and now you are coming with same slogans, again and again…you say we are a joke now!! wake up bro… you lost qualification after having such big mouth, because of your african titels 06 & 08 and failed to WC, so whos the joke now?? sorry, but i cant hear the pharaos laughing…
keep your african titles and you know what, ill give you 99% of domination instead of 70%, ILL KEEP THE GOALS…you are just a sad example of how egytian mentalety works in general

@Amigo:
“But for those idiots who keep insisting on coming in here just to talk shit and insult the Egyptian country and government….”…ill give that to you, no problem.
but what about the actual ultra national algeria hating media campaign in egypt?? what do you think about that??
i dont now if you speak and understand arabic well…i do and ive watched some egyptian shows lately…..believe me, if one day i have to go to egypt for some reason, ill avoid peolple from knowing im algerian, i realy mean it!!! im not disrespecting egypt by this comment but i just feel like a whole nation is hating me…on the eid there were transparents at the entrances of gardins in cairo saying “no entrance for algerians”…you live in the us, and you now treansparents like this from past us history…like in busses or bars..”no entrance for negroes”…well, the same shit happening in egypt supported by those “free” medias

uthman you don’t know anything about football….your a patriotic gentleman not objective at all…..Tunisia is above average Algeria is average no more than that…… One lucky goal does not your reality…. Just like Togo and Angola did not change their reality…..you are who you are maybe someday you’ll be a good team but now….. Your just a second tier team that was lucky Egypt didn’t beat Zambia in Cairo lucky that Africa for the. First time did not have the away goal rule like the rest of the world.. Lucky Zambia goal against you was not allowed lucky you got 8 minutes of injury time against rowanda… Lucky you got a penalty in the 8th minute of extra time …. Lucky barakat missed a point blank goal lucky a goal that crossed the lone in Cairo didn’t count lucky meyeb missed a point blank goal lucky abuyteka didn’t stop the ball and made a point blank goal……lucky multiple sure goals were blocked or missed by the Egyptians and most of all lucky that in a game that you were outplayed even worse than the game in Cairo that one of your 2 shots on goal went in…….you uthman many lucky things had to happen and they did …. So at the end of the day it was meant to be…….. That your weAk algerian team like the weak teams of Togo and Angola before made it to the wc cup……sorry doesn’t change the fact that a team that has never won any championship at any level in their history still is only average
