We are the champions!!
yes, we have done it, egypt has done. again we are the kings of the African jungle with all its lions elephants, crocodiles and all. again we can walk through Africa as champions and proud to be so. we are the champions with style. i won’t talk about the match not for now at least. let’s just enjoy this victory
i cannot describe the celebrations that broke out after the match. people ran to the streets waving their flags and pimped the cars horns.Cairo’s major streets were completely closed. people fired fireworks, flares played their drums sang their chants. complete and pure happiness. Egyptians were happy as if they haven’t been happy before.
the victory came in style with great performance and after a very difficult match. now egypt enjoy its 6 th title setting its own record and breaking its own 5 titles record. there was bad luck but with determination we were able to get over it. just if you see how mohamed zidan was full of determination to get this ball in spite of his small body compared to song who nearly crushed zidan but zizou was able to pass the ball and aboutreka scored to announce egypt the champion once and for all.
the team will arrive in Cairo tomorrow, i expect a huge reception by the people and the state officials. Egyptians will take tomorrow a day-off.
congratulations all and thank you for your support.

Congrats to Egypt and I’m happy for Arabic Team to end up wining!

Tamim … you did a great job blogging this throughout the tournament.
Congratulations to you, myself and all Egyptians out there for our victory. And i could say that this time, we proved it to the whole world that we deserved it … and deserved it BIGTIME!!!
whether tactical games, physical games, open games, we’ve got them all!! and we beat them all. No other team had the same spirit as ours … and no other team fought so hard for their victory like we did. Our winning goal in the final was a clear proof of that!
I wanted to ask you though about the pictures from the games … how do you get those?? there’s a certain picture from the Cote D’Ivoire game that i really wanna get
i tried gettyimages but didn’t find it.
anyways if you could help me with that i’d be very grateful

I’m so happy, the team can be sooo proud, i came in school with a egyptian flag today, and everybody smiled and said, they’ve watched the game, and egypt plays very good football. So, as you can see, the support is gigantic, not only in arabian countries.
